I watched with great interest as a house in the next village had its render applied and contacted MP Plastering when I could see what a great job had been done.
Mark was very helpful right from our first meeting – it was clear that he knew what he was talking about and he was keen to involve the Representative from the render manufacturer right from the outset to ensure that all the correct products and processes were used.
Ours was not a straightforward job. The exterior of our house had a combination of very old, lime render (full of horse hair) that had blown in many places, painted concrete (whre past owners had ‘bodged’ the repairs) and, if that wasn’t enough – brand new breeze blocks. Mark knew that the existing plaster/concrete/lime would need to be removed and/or repaired and then treated before any new application could be applied.
Once the team arrived, I can honestly tell you that they were a delight to have here and I don’t say that lightly!!
Nothing was too much trouble, I was kept informed of the processes and their progress constantly.
Due to their knowledge and expertise, the render was applied and alterations were made to ensure that the render was ‘age appropriate’ to the building – so the render on the corners and around the windows was rounded and great care was taken over the plinth, which looks superb as a result of the care that was taken to ensure a perfect finish.
I cannot recommend MP Plastering more highly. The price was right, the team were a delight to have at the house and the finish is superb! What more could you ask for?
