Project Description

Rogerstone Renovation

We were very privileged to be one of only two contractors to be put forward by Weber for this project. After seeing the damp report, it was obvious that there were serious issues of water penetration and damp and the customer had only been living there 18 months. After going through a serious wet winter all the problems arose and something had to be done. It was unavoidable that the property had to be rendered to allow the building to breathe and be waterproof. Weber suggested that due to the state of the building this was not going to be an easy task as the customer was devastated to have to cover up the beautiful stonework and brick surrounds.

The client was adamant that she wanted to keep all the features around the windows and Weber suggested using brick slips. The customer showed great taste on choosing both the colour of the brick slips and the render to be used and they suited each other perfectly.

We knew that we could create something that was in keeping with the unique character of the property and its surroundings whilst providing a solution.

Throughout the project the customer made us feel very welcome and appreciated all of the work that was being carried out on her home. The customer was overjoyed with the end results.

Once the project was completed Weber decided that it was such a great transformation they they wanted to compile a case study which has been picked up by various magazine and the Housebuilder website.
